Beautiful, Simple Presentations with Haiku Deck

If your LMS (Blackboard) uses "HTTPS," you are likely to experience problems if you attempt to embed Haiku Deck. A good workaround is to export your Haiku Deck to SlideShare (an option from the web app after you have shared it as Public). This issue is due to the fact that Haiku Deck does not currently provide an HTTPS embed code option. When your presentation is in SlideShare, click "Share," "Embed," and then check the box titled, "Generate embed code for https site" before you copy your embed code into Blackboard.
To copy embed code into Blackboard, follow these steps:

Copy the embed code to your computer's clipboard
In Blackboard, click on Create Content and select New Item
Give the new item a title and in the toolbar, click the HTML button or a button that has this icon "<>." That will "Toggle to HTML source code view" and provide you with a view of the code, rather than a rich text view. This step is critical.
While still in HTML source code view, paste your embed code into the text box.
Click submit.
Your content should appear. If it does not, try disabling the "edit" feature and see if it appears then.
